This painting was used as a jacket cover for Robert's one man art show, held in Pennsylvania.

Robert Williams (1936 - 2003), a long term Woodbury resident, disliked painting large pictures and chose an intimate scale for his renditions. His final artistic motion was to place foxes and other animals in his artwork as a substitute for humans.

This painting is a hand painted Christmas card addressed to "Robert and
Marcel" written and signed by Conger Metcalf.
